A good weekend was had, despite The Lurgy not having fully gone away.
Thanks, ghostpaw and the_smut_fairy! The girly craft event in Bethnal Green was great :) On having a stroll afterwards, I even managed to solve my winter boot problem (sort of tallish boot / baseball shoe hybrids, the laceupness and zip means I get sufficient adjustment). Didn't buy a purple option of them though, as purple sections had beige tartan within it, which I didn't like...
Yesterday we went for a curry in Ealing with some of masterofapath's old workmates. Once one of them was reminded which day we were meeting on, anyway ;)

Have started needlefelting a cat for one of my long-standing fluffy toy customers. Looks to be working OK so far.
